Pet Portraits
Dogs, cats, rabbits, turtles and everything in between – pets are a central part of our lives. They’re family. Having them portrayed on paper is a beautiful way of celebrating them and what they mean to you. That’s why I’ll work closely with you to produce a gorgeous ink portrait of your pet.
I am fully booked through to the end of 2022 and am pausing taking on any more pet portrait requests thereafter. If you’re interested in a portrait, email me at hello@ostockley.com and if I reopen for bookings I’ll email you first to let you know!
I’ve introduced a new pricing system for my portraits, where I ask that my customers pay what they’re able to for my portraits. I hope this model will enable everyone to enjoy my art at a price that is accessible to them

- I'll weave together lines of varying thickness, for a stunning drawing of your two-clawed or four-pawed friend
- Best for animals with finer fur, including cats
- A highly detailed drawing up to 9x12in

Pay what you want
Minimum amount: £250/CA$420/US$340- The pared down option. Bold and beautiful.
- I'll capture your pet's likeness using a small number of clean, carefully placed lines. A great gift for a fellow animal lover
- Best for fluffier animals, like doodles
- A mid-detail drawing up to 9x12in

Pay what you want
Minimum amount: £175/CA$290/US$240- The small but mighty option. Just mesmerising.
- I'll use a simple, bold style to draw your pet. A gorgeous option that really stands out in a smaller space.
- Best for most dogs
- A mid-detail drawing up to 5x7in

The Process
I want to make your experience as enjoyable as possible. Here are the stages involved in creating your pet portrait:
Get in touch
The first step is to send me a quick email. If possible, please include at least two or three high resolution images of your pet. You can reach me at hello@ostockley.com
Confirmation
After discussing your ideas for the piece, as well as practicalities like the size of the artwork and the time frame you would like to receive it within, I’ll confirm the price of your pet portrait and ask for a deposit of 50% of the price.
Drawing
Next, I’ll start drawing!
If you’d like to see how the work progresses, I can send you a picture of it halfway through drawing. That said, some people prefer the surprise of not seeing the piece until it arrives on their doorstep – it’s completely up to you.
Delivery
When the drawing is complete and you’ve completed payment, I’ll ship the piece over to you using signed and tracked delivery. And, within days, you’ll be holding your new artwork!
